Here it is almost 2004 and 2WD is still going strong. They must have 20 brand new Santa Cruz frames hanging up waiting to be built. In my experience with them (3 bikes in 3 years) they rule. I can't imagine ever dealing with another shop, these guys are so helpful and caring. Thats the difference, they care that you are happy and that you are riding. I don't want to be just another echo on this board, but really, knows how to take care of you whether its road or mtb, they will find a way to fix your problem. I live around the corner and I ride down there just to hang out and talk bikes. The boys doing the wrenching always do a great job and always have the insight I'm seeking on tech questions or about trails and riding techniques. In my opinion, they are a 10 out of 10. Keep up the good work 2WD.

This is the best road and mountain bike shop I have found. The owner, is both friendly and helpful while never "overselling" items to his customers that he knows they will not actually use or ever need. Bike shop owners do not get any more honest. His mechanics are better than most bike shops. Brea is a long distance from my house, but Dealing with Two Wheeler Dealer is always a pleasure.

Bought my first "real" mountain bike there in 1992 (Trek hardtail). Since then, I've moved but still stop in to "shop" the new bikes. It's great to see the shop still prosper. Although... many new mechanics and employees since 1992, they still have the same attitude - attention to the customer, friendliness, and great service. I even brought in a different mountain bike to get a tune up for a ride and instead of making me wait a week, they took care of the adjustment right on the spot... and it was a bike I bought somewhere else. When everyone says "support your local LBS," this shop is the reason why.

There is NO better shop in OC.... Or anywhere for that matter in my opinion. I just purchased a new SANTA CRUZ "Blur" and I could NOT be happier with IT or the service that I received while building my new ride (Actually the boys at 2WD built it) The prices are excellent too. As a matter of fact I'll be going there this Saturday with my sister to purchase another SANTA CRUZ (A SuperLight for her). As of this writing they have another "Blur" and plenty "SuperLights" to choose from. You just CAN'T go wrong by going to 2WD....
What are you waiting for???? get over there and say Howdy...

Great bike shop, been going there since 1994 and it is now April of 2002 (they are still there), and they are still my first stop for all things cycling.

I've been riding for the last 12 years and have seen the more and more local LBS shops close due to the web and the down trend in the industry. This is on of the few shops that really is your friendly local bike shop. They're very informative, friendly, and never think any questionis too dumb. Whether it's maintenance related, about training methods, or finding a good local trail, these guys really remind me of what a good bike shop should be. Thanks...

Very informative and helpful. The shop is still doing business and is stronger than ever. This is one of the best shops I have been to.

One of the few "Mom-n-Pop" shops that will match mail-order/cataloge prices. As far as I can tell, the entire staff are riders. They are informative and helpful. Great location -- the spouse can hit Brea Mall while you find some awesome deals. Chino Hills is nearby.
